How our parking solutions helped Grosvenor Casino, a busy 24-hour leisure venue in Southampton offering a comfortable club setting for its members and visitors alike.


Located close to a cruise ship port, this popular casino offers parking for all who come to enjoy the many games and entertainments they have on offer. Their 80-space car park, including a number of disabled access bays, enables ease of use for their customers as well as members of staff.


Due to a re-development of the surrounding sites and leisure complex, the client found that people were frequently taking advantage of their site’s easily accessible parking. Being situated so close to the port and neighbouring shopping facilities also highly increased the traffic flow, leading to multiple incidents of rogue parking taking place.

Parking Solution

After in-depth discussions with the client regarding their issues, Minster Baywatch were able to offer a proposal to suit their enforcement needs. With the implementation of our dynamic ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) camera systems, we abolished the problem of rogue parking, as unauthorised users were made aware that this enforcement system was now in place.

As well as solving the issue of people taking advantage of the site’s parking, we were also able to ensure that systems were put in place to enable free parking for genuine users of the casino, at the client’s request.


With these new enforcement systems set up, the site was cleared of rogue parking, genuine customers had an improved parking experience, and the client was satisfied that their needs were met and any future problems that crept up would be handled swiftly.
